Mission: I’m Home is a  new club at Stevenson University dedicated to rebuilding houses for deserving families who have been displaced from their homes due to natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances. In the fall of 2008, Morgan Somerville, Art Fifer and Romas Laskauskas with the support of others, started to plan an alternative Spring Break Trip to New Orleans to help rebuild homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. In March of 2009, 19 students and 5 faculty and staff journeyed to Louisiana to help 3 different families homecoming dream come true. After returning from the trip, a group of students decided to start a club which would make yearly trips to New Orleans to continue helping…
